88 or 92 Degree Thermostat
Hi its getting cold now im sorting out my heater in my 64 Traveller, Which is best a 88 or 92 degree thermostat? Thanks
Re: 88 or 92 Degree Thermostat
92 if you can find one! But the difference between these two is really not going to be noticeable.

A heater service would be more beneficial, clean the martrix and give the pipes a blast through with a hosepipe to clear out any sludge. Make sure that the heater tap is fully open.
I believe that there are still a few motor accessory shops around and there is a little known chain of stores called Halfords which may possibly stock thermostats

The recipe for mixing the anti freeze will be on the bottle.
Don't use it neat unless it is pre diluted, as antifreeze on it's own doesn't conduct heat as well as water.
