Hello I am 17 and have almost finished restoring my first morris minor. I was fitting the new rear wing last night and was having trouble with the new wing piping that i bought. when i compared it to the old one that had been taken off i realised that the new one was alot thinner and that this was why it wasn't fitting properly. Does anyone know where i can buy thicker wing piping??? Im a little bit confused HELP Cheers Ben PS Passed My Driving Test Yesterday
Congratulations on passing your driving test and welcome to the forum
They dont make the thicker piping any more, if the bottom of the old piping is in reasonable condition you can cut it off and put it in underneath the new piping to help space it out.
Post up some pics of your car, we all like pictures here!
I will give the idea of using the bottom of the old piping a try thanks for that Here is a pic of my morris minor Cydney who is waiting for a respray this picture is from when he was first put into the garage he has since had his engine bay stripped and painted along with the engine [frame][/frame]

Looks like a Bedford CA Debonaire to me. Coachbuilt fibreglass bodywork by Dormobile.
That it is, We bought it for my grandfather last year and is totally original apart from the horrible toyota mirror that was placed on the other side by the the previous owners, it was even used in heartbeat we are in the process of removing the diesel engine and replacing with a petrol.
