Will a 12 Gallon Fuel Tank Fit an LCV?
I thought I only had one small hole in my tank but have found that it is actually peppered when I cleaned it up. May be simpler to replace it than patch it but wondered if the bigger ones that are around for the salons will foul the floor in a Pick-up or Van? Anyone done it?[frame]

Pretty sure they are not 12 gallon anyway! Was that a standard tank ? Looks as though an 'alternative' filler pipe entry has been welded up in the past ?

Re: Will a 12 Gallon Fuel Tank Fit an LCV?
The one I have removed ( in the photo ) appears to have been a salon tank that has been blanked off and the filler pipe repositioned to suit an LCV. That doesn't worry me too much but loosing fuel does.
Just wondered if ANY 9.5 gallon tank would do or if they was a difference ( other than the filler pipe ) between the LCV version and a 9.5 gallon salon tank.

The LCV has a much bigger space for a larger fuel tank, but (as you already seem to know) the saloon version is different anyway. Unless you can find someone who has done it, then try and talk a supplier into giving you one on sale or return!
If it does fit, they would be able to sell them for LCV's as well so it can't do them any harm.
First thing to check would be the clearance to the loadbay floor - this should be possible with a tape measure.

Birmingham MMC advertise 9.5 gallon tanks for LCVs and saloons.

Thanks Mike - I'll call them on Monday.
ESM offer the same tank but are currently out of stock.

The current Birmingham MMC ad states that van & saloon 9.5 gallon tanks "are in production and will be available shortly".

I believe Jono at JLH has a load of stampings made - but can't get anyone to weld them together...
