Nostalgia, Old Family Photos.
I was just wondering how many people have old family photos taken with a Morris Minor. To start the ball rolling here is a circa 50 year old photo of my parents' Traveller. This car, bought second hand, was had a 998cc engine and was presumably a base model (no overriders). It was replaced by a brand new Traveller in late 1962 and was in almond green with duotone interior and the 1098cc engine. From left to right is myself, my brother, Dad and my sister. Sorry that the quality is not brilliant but I copied it with a digital camera[frame]

No I'm afraid not, neither is its replacement the green one, OEG998. I can still remember the day it arrived from the dealer's. There was as much excitement as if it were a new baby!
KDO968's engine was 948 and not 998... typing error...[frame]

Thanks to Mikey for his interesting contribution. Are there really no more old photos out there? Nostalgia ain't what it used to be! Sarg.

My mum and Dad (and cousin) - 1966 on their wedding day (must explain my Mum's expression
)
It appears they were fitting flashing indicators to the cars with just trafficators back then.

Here is my late Grandfathers 1957 minor 4 door, with belfast registation WZ 2044. Also in picture is my mum's cousin who now lives in Ozzy land. The sticker on the rear window reads 'Morris Minor 1000 makes the most of your petrol'[frame]

Re: Nostalgia, Old Family Photos.
These ones that don't show up on the DVLA database may not have disappeared. In 1983, the old green logbook was phased out, and those who didn't make the cut-off point lost their original number in favour of an age-related number. Mine was one of those, so if anyone's looking for OKD708, it's in my garage in bits!
