How to cut braided hose?

Post by ferret76 »

Anyone know what to use to cut stainless braided fuel hose? Is there a special tool or can I just have at it with sharp tin snips or similar?

Rightly or wrongly - I pull the plastic end cover off and use a junior hacksaw. Wrap it up with tape tightly first to keep it in shape.

I think I'll dremel the braid and then cut the hose with the wife's good kitchen scissors (when she's out).
