Finishing touches to the new LCV book!

Post by POMMReg »

PLEASE,PLEASE....

I need as many chassis/cab/engine number combinations as possible to assist my research into the complicated world of Minor LCV cab & Engine numbers;

Surely, writing down numbers for a true Minor enthusiast isn't much to ask for(?)

If you're unsure of a number, simply replace it with a '?'!!

SHIMPLES!!

Thanks Les,

E-mail me direct on; POMMReg@gmail.com

ALL information given stays in the POMM office - hope this assures owners.

Cab numbers collated are to be used as guide ranges....ie; for dating a cab/engine/chassis.

Remember, chassis plates can be easily removed, but the cab number is welded on and is also repeated on a
separate plate. If untouched the cab can be dated.

Again, I would advise owners to make a personal note of ALL numbers.

I've encountered 2 cases of vans having 1968 cabs, but 1971 registrations - also a 1968 van with a 1966 cab!!

Any queries, feel free to contact me.

Hello Chris

I gave you my details on the lcv site recently so I am just nudging this topic to remind folks to let you know their cab and chassis numbers, especially as it all forms part of the understanding of the history of our marque - and sadly due to the ravages of time we need to gain as much info on as many Minors as possible before we regret it! It's been like getting blood from a stone!!!

NO idea why people are so reluctant to divulge the info, all data is entered in my chassis/cab list (on PC) and my A4 ring binder in the office - no-one other than me has access to it!!!!

Have just finished a night-shift & now time for bed!!
