Hi,
I was reading the latest issue 'Mailbag' section and spotted two enquiries about former family Minors. As I was on the internet at the time I thought I'd have a quick check on the DVLA site, as I read so many of these 'can you help us find' appeals in various classic publications but never see any follow up published (hopefully someone will let the relevant interested parties know), so to this end:
MWW 276 (Minor 1000 with semaphores): Sorry to report the DVLA has no record of a car bearing this registration, but that doesn't mean it's not sitting out of sight somewhere awaiting rediscovery.....
177 DPG (1957 Convertable): Good news: This one still exists and is currently taxed. The colour is listed as Green (was this it's original colour??) and with a 948cc engine.
As I said , I hope this helps and the information finds its way to the people concerned.
Best wishes, Mike.
