Re: South Wales Branch September Run.
Thank You Everyone of you who attended our Run yesterday October 24th. We had 20 vehicles attend Most of them Morris's The weather was with us every step of the way. For those who couldn't make it, We had more breakdowns than Cheril Cole.
Well only three and they were to do with rota arms.....Godfrey Crew's LCV was chosen "Best Car of the Day" by visitors attending Big Pit. and took a club prize home. Every one received a goodie bag full of stuff. And took loads of photographs I am hoping that they will start to be shown here..
A great day out and pleasent company to.
Look Out 2011!!!!!!

I think. that if we don't get Snow, ice, or any wintry weather this Christmas it might be possable to have a Boxing Day or day after (27th) get to gether. A sort of "Turkey shakedown". I don't know if it work as most owners have family around, or the weather is to bad. But We do have ALL of Next Year Yea

"We had more breakdowns than Cheril Cole"!
Liking it lol
Ive got some more piccies I'll try and upload some more. But Im missing some due to my late arrival at Blaenavon because of my mini-service (well putting the old stuff back on) at the side of the road
If theres one bit of useful advice I could give, dont change your rotor arm/condensor/CB points willy nilly if they're already working fine, the new ones you put on will last about 20 miles!!
My rotor arm did! If it aint broke dont fix it.

Re: South Wales Branch September Run.
Val and Tom Allen managed to get going again. It was a broken wire on their condencer. Mathew gave his old one for them to use but before they managed to leave the car park it broke down again so we called the AA man back over and Toms old Condencer was replaced and he returned back home safe.

Re: South Wales Branch September Run.
The AA man joined it back together and off they went... like a kangaroo across the car park. The condenser I gave you was the dodgy one I took off my carPikey wrote:Did the maroon saloon get going again without much bother, sorry dont know they're names, great characters though with their bright red pom poms out of the windowsI saw the rescue service coming in as I left.

Re: South Wales Branch September Run.
Thats all good new then. Toms first condensor was loose when I first examined the the dist, on both the earth and the CB terminals so perhaps it had shaken its wiring loose and broken its terminal. Im going to stock up on some NOS parts I think. Glad we all got home safe though.
Bring on next year!!
