Manufacturer's Build List

Post by Uncle Cib »

A friend of mine has just obtained a manufacturer's Build list, for one of his classic cars, from Aston Martin. It gives all the details of the original parts fitted to his particular vehicle when it was assembled in 1968. Has anyone ever been able to obtain such a list for their Morris? If so, who does one apply to? Aston Martin charged nothing for the information but Alvis charged £14 I believe.

The only details you can get are what Heritage has - at a price.

Aren't Aston Martins hand built?
Near side rear wing banged out in one second on press number 5 doesn't have quite the same ring as lovingly hand crafted by Mr. Joseph Bloggs esq.
