Dizzy. i'm so dizzy.

Post by Peetee »

Sorting out my shed at the mo. Lots of spares, most of which are not labelled.
I have two types of dizzy cap. looking at a parts website they appear to be for 25D4 and 45D4.
Are they interchangeable? If not,which is for a 1275, 1098 or 948 (I have owned all 3)?

Not interchangeable - either dizzy could be fitted to any of these engines - if the 1275 is ex Spridget.

If the 1275 is NOT ex Spridget - neither of these dizzies will fit it.......... It uses a 59D - which takes the same cap as the 45D.

Ok. I have a spare dizzy from a 1275A+ too. I hoped I could label the caps up and pop them straight in a box but i think I'll look at the engines I have, try them to fit and label them accordingly. It'll take a bit longer but there you go.
The joys of moving house.
