Bit of fun: post pics of your fave modded moggy's
As the title suggests, just post up pics and/or web links of your favourite modified Minors. Get those creative juices flowing for next show season
I'll go 1st....
http://www.performancecar.co.nz/article ... 59773_8993[/img][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
And there's plenty more where they came from
Hopefully this thread will get people motivated to do something a bit different with their project, even if it's not to everyones taste. Eye of the beholder and all that
Cheers

ZD460, your van is amazing. Would be great if you could put up some more pics of it and maybe a full spec list . By the looks of it (correct me if I'm wrong) but are you from Australia? I was looking in to doing this conversion for my project (minus the turbo), how did you find the build?

Re: Bit of fun: post pics of your fave modded moggy's
Hi
Yes you are correct I live in Australia
Here are fom more pictures from the build-up:
Test fitting the engine and making the engine mounts
We had to cut out the box section at the rear of the engine to get clearance at the front
Custom engine mounts and I think jaguar 6 cylinder rubber
Datsun sunny brake boost and master cylinder. The master cylinder and the swing pedals were done before I brought the car
The engine after I had the block honed, new rings and bearing and had the head rebuilt
Engine sitting in the the engine bay working out the best position for the turbo
Welded in some 2mm plate to stop the steering rack moving around
We put dynamat throughout the car
Wheels are Performance superlite 6x7 front and back with 195/45/r16 front and 205/45/r16 on the back.
And I must admit that most of the fab work was done by a mate who is much better fabricator and welder than I am.
