dynamo to alternator again

In the link above shows the wiring diagram for an alternator upgrade.
I was wondering if this is correct if my Morris is positive grounded.

You cannot fit an alternator to a positive earth vehicle - Convert to neg earth first....

In the early days there were some +ve earth alternators (11 AC units) - but they are long gone.........

Police Panda cars were fitted with them.

Yes -I think that was pretty much the ONLY application for these 11AC alternators. They had external transistor packs (4TR) and an external relay (6RA) as far as I can remember. It was possible to buy the bits as a kit from Lucas - popular on Rally cars at the time! .
