wheel cylinder problems

Hi all, i am having my first problem with molly since she was put back on the road in April ,
i replaced all the brake parts including the wheel cylinders and all has bee fine until today when the car pulled to the right when braking and on inspection both cylinders on the left are leaking (i don't know know if i can name the maker pm if interested), i know people say they don't make things like they used to but a six month working life!!! they haven't Evan gone rusty yet surely they should last longer than this,
i was just wondering has anyone else had problems with these units and also where i i could get good usable replacements with a bit longer working life, on the plus side this is the first problem i have had with car and i am more then happy with my choice of classic to run here's to many more miles in her, keep the wheels turning best regards Mikey.

If they are the 'pattern' ones - send them back and demand a refund. And fit a pair of genuine ones instead. If the shoes are wet with fluid - they too will need renewing........

Hi bmc they are supposed to be made in Britain by a well known maker i don't know if i can name them on the open forum but i can on pm, and yes i will replace the shoes and also the cylinders on both sides as it will be only a mater of time before these go bad as well, do you have any suggestions where i might get replacements, as i said in my post this is the first time i have had any problems with the car i use it daily and have clocked up a fare few miles so i am very pleased with my choice of classic, best regards Mikey.

Can only suggest you contact the supplier right away - and ask for urgent replacements while you send yours back for examination. They shouldn't quibble - don't be shy to mention it's being discussed on the Minor forum!
