I am restoring my first 4 door 1968 saloon, and I have found a yellow wire behind the B Pillar trim. HELP, what does it do???
All the electics work, and I cant find it on the wiring diagram. Does anybody have any ideas?
Best regards,
Shaun

Re: Help Yellow wire
Hello Shaun,
it's not original, yellow is used for very few functions and none of those apply to a Minor. I'm afraid you'll have to try and trace it's route, any non standard switches, relays, fuses etc are suspect.

Re: Help Yellow wire
I think the interior light wires are purple.
My guess is that there has been an alarm fitted at some point and these are leftovers.
Yellow wire from a radio is for an electric aerial.
