Re: New Owner and Member
Thanks for your advice, David, spot-on.
I have now fitted a new rear-door lock and fuel-gauge sender gasket. I had a look this morning and you were right about where the smell of petrol was coming from, it had leaked all over that area, the recess was very wet. I dried the area carefully afterwards and took the little gem for a run up and down a few hills with a full tank. When I got back the recess was still dry although I dare say the petrol smell will linger for a while.
You were also spot-on about the cost.
You see, that's why I'm on here, all this expertise available for the asking.
Thanks again,

Now, the question is, have I bitten off more than I can chew?

They will fit 2 door saloons but not 4 door
Traveller, convertible & 2 door saloon doors are the same also 4 door saloon, van & pick-up doors are shorter.

Re: New Owner and Member
hello,
I've had my 1968 morris 1000 for a couple of weeks and i love it to bits.
I'm only just 17 and it's my first car . Not quite used to driving yet but everytime I drive 'Fang' as she is affectionally named everyone smiles at me she really turns heads .[frame][/frame]

Welcome attibrutal -
You have great taste in cars for one so young. It's encouraging to know that younger owners are getting involved which will help keep these lovely cars going for a long while into the future.
All the best and have fun with your Minor,
