Unusual pick up & load

Post by LouiseM »

Just thought I'd post up a pic of an unusual pick up & load combination (on Dutch plates) that was attracting quite a bit of attention on the LVC Register stand at the Great Dorset Steam Fair yesterday. Not seen anything like it before and there was no information provided but I'm guessing that it might not have a standard engine! :D[frame]Image[/frame]

The back doors weren't open so I don't know if it had been converted or not but there weren't any windows in it so possibly not.

Slightly off topic (although it does concern an unusual load!). I know you're a bit of a steam fan Roy so here's a pic of 4 traction engines joined together, pulling a low loader with a steam train on the back :D

There was a big article on that exact trailer in minor matters or monthly (cant remember which!) a few years ago, I'll see if I can find it. :D

It was Minor Monthly about 15 months ago. June 2009 Issue No. 168. The trailers were made by a company called Scottish Aviation Ltd of Prestwick.
