Greetings from across the pond, hope all is well on this fine weekend..
I am a Morris head, have a LHD '59 Pickup (1275 convert, rib case trans, etc) and a 1949 Lowlight Tourer that is mostly complete and original that we'll be doing a full restoration on this winter. The car has only been in the States since the mid to late 1990's apparently, and is in sweet shape in the rot department. Check the reg as well "MMM 868", how cool is that. Anyone have any history on this car???
Here's a pic for your all's enjoyment.

At any rate, I've gone through the entire brake system, all the wheel cylinders / master cylinder / hoses are new, drums were in good shape, but the shoes were replaced as well. I finally got the thing bled correctly, and she works pretty decent.
My question being, the master looks to be the same bore as a T series MG (looks like exactly the same unit??), and I keep trying to compare the brakes (in my mind) to our '55 TF in terms of pedal feel. The drums are roughly 10" on the TF, so I know it will always stop better than the Morris, but has anyone played around with larger bore masters and created (perhaps) a bit more pedal effort, but higher hookup point in terms of pedal travel? If I panic stop the MM, I have yet to be able to lock them up. Normal, or back to the basics??
Thanks all, and I'll dive into the archives here and keep you posted on resto pics!
