Steering column replacement

Hi Guys,

It it possible to replace the steering column on a Series II splitscreen with one from a 1098cc?

Yes, but you'll have to change the steering wheel as well - the later columns are splined, the series 2 wheels aren't. I can't remember if its necessary, but we used the later mounting bracket as well.
