Painting

Post by andygill »

Hi

Has anyone pained their handbrake and gear stick (or did you replace them with new ?)

If so what did you use ?

Thanks

Sand them both down to give a good key and then use black Hammerite smooth.

If it's very pitted/chipped try about 800 wet/dry. Finishing with something like 1200 to give a really smooth finish. Don't forget to remove the carpets before you paint!
