Help Required re Seat Question
Can you please tell me what type of seats these are and would they fit in to a 1954 2 door Splitscreen. They are currently in a Morris 1000 4 door.[frame]

Re: Help Required re Seat Question
Those are the later style Morris 1000 seats, used from October '64 onwards. Although you'd possibly be able to fit the front seats OK, rear seats from a 4 door are not the same as rear seats in a 2 door as they are shaped differently.

Re: Help Required re Seat Question
The front seats will be a straight swap (though it is harder to get in the back as series II seats fold and late 1000 ones dont), I currently have the rear seat base from a four door in my two door and it fits fine, the only reason I didnt fit the seat back was that it was series II curved top back and got in the way of the centre fitted seatbelts in my 1000, otherwise it seemed to fit.
If you can get hold of series II seats instead then they are more comfortable and look better (in my opinion) but yes I think the 1000 ones will fit.
