Does anyone know of any garages to do some restoration work (welding) near Southampton / Portsmouth?

I can recommend chertsey minors.. in er.. chertsey at the top end of the M3

There's SGA Motors in Ringwood who advertise in Minor Matters - I don't know anything about them but is worth an enquiry.

erm, i don't know if he has room, and it may take a while. the workshop is stacked out (and probably looks like bmceccosse's shed). i went up there for bits and the work he had done was good, but how he finds anything i will never know. he was actually rebuilding an engine on the floor as i arrived. :o

he is a little one man band not far from the In-excess garden centre on the Ringwood to Southampton road.
