vauxhall cresta pa??
iv looked everywhere for one of these as a cheap project and wondered if anyone on here knows ov any?? iv found 1 in cambridge and its rotten into the ground
id also like to know if anyone on here has owned or driven one and what there like?

Most of them were rusty before they left the factory I understand, therefore very few surviving, hence the huge price. Great looking cars but one advert describes them as money pits if you do get a project car.patricklambert wrote: iv found 1 in cambridge and its rotten into the ground![]()

Notorious rot boxes I'm afraid, I remember an article in a magazine where they had found a good one, probably never been outside in it's life.
The thing that sticks in my mind is that was hardly any paint at all in the boot area, the merest whiff of the spray gun had been applied

ah i know they rot like buggery
my grandad had a old shape velox with a rotton roof! im not bothered about the amount of welding it needs just something as a long term project as the morris is nearly done!

great choice, make an excellent rock n roll car. dunno what you are like at driving in a drape jacket, crepe soles and drainpipes pat? this is the uniform when driving a PA. what about a velox? or even an f type victor?

iv got alot of 2 tone ska stuff i could wear! and i did think of the f type but i just have a thing about the cresta pa! it turns out to be dads fav car to!
