Need Help with Traveller rear bumper

Post by tedlogan »

Hi im'm new to this only got my first Moggy two months ago. Im getting my 64 Traveller redy for a re-sprey and im removing a tow bar that was currently on. The problem is I cant find a picture any where of how the rear bumper blades attatch to the body as I only see 1 bolt for each seperate blade but when they are on the tow bar they are attatched by two bolts?
Could someone please send me a pic look down behind the bumper blade so I can see exactly how they are attatched!
Thank you

There is a bar that bolts across the car - and the chrome bumpers bolt to that with two coach bolts each - and the number plate panel fits in the middle section. Maybe the original support bar has been removed when the tow bar was fitted ? You won't want them on anyway for the re-spray! Always lots of folks looking for a tow bar - so you may get a swap going quite easily.
