Its been compulsory for some time now - I fell foul last year when offering a high value item and I was feeling too mean to pay the paypal fees. I understand that ebay have a search running for the phrase 'no' and 'paypal' in the same sentence so they tend to find any transgressors sooner or later.
You see folk getting round it by saying things like 'cash preferred over an other method' or 'cash only' but thats probably too subtle for this seller...
Big brother will get you eventually!

The negative feedback is brilliant, you click the link and it sends you to the same tailgate winning bid at £200. He has the gall to say the neg feedback is unjustified as he is selling for a friend! Perhaps we could report it as he refused to sell it before?? Help out a fellow forum member perhaps?? :D

Only the persons involved in the sale are allowed to report it however if you click the link on the item that says "report item" you can then bubble him for not accepting paypal ( http://cgi1.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... massey1966 ) hopefully this link takes you straight there. It hard enough selling on ebay as it is so I am all for reporting idiots like this.

I have been selling on ebay since 2001 and the protection side of things hasgot a lot better but it doesn't take much effort to play it straight.

Well I've reported him for selling a fraudulent item... the item for sale has already been sold.
