Silicone Hoses

Post by M25VAN »

Just browsing the ESM website today and noticed that they sell silicone hoses. They have an "original" look about them, not being the usual smooth finish. Apart from the bright blue bypass hose!
I know a few people have asked on here about them before and I will try them next when my current "Kevlar reinforced superior quality turbo cr*pster" ones give up the ghost (again)

For those north of the border, the prices ain't cheap so look away now..... :)

I seem to remember that when I tried to fit a kevlar re inforced bottom hose it was a real pig as there was no stretch in it to fit over the rad tube. Yes I did use washing up liquid and soaked the pipe in hot water

They look nice and are not that expensive when you consider the risks of overheating with the next to useless Kevlar ones.
As you say shame the bypass one is bright blue :-?

if the bypass hose bothers you then you could always replace with something like this
