New roof for convertible

Post by Jhunt »

I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes new soft tops?, any help would be gratefully received.

Welcome to the messageboard, and it might be useful to add your location to your profile so we know where you are :D

Most of the Morris Minor parts suppliers such as ESM, Bull Motif, Morris Minor Centre (Birmingham), Tom Roy etc should be able to supply you with a convertible roof but a Google search will give you a list of other companies too. There are various different types of material used for hoods but I'm sure that someone with a convertible will be along soon to offer some advice.

Hi,
we have a double-duck canvas hood on our car that was supplied with the car , the later cars were actually fitted with an everflex hood ,priced at £174.50 by ESM, I buy most of my spares from them and find them very good . The canvas hood would cost nearly an extra £100 , I would advise you to also buy a hood bag , this stops the wind catching the hood when retracted.
