Capillary repair
Does anyone know anyone that can repair the capillary on a smiths temperature gauge. I was given a duel water temperature and oil pressure gauge but the end of the capillary that goes into the block has been chopped off.

HAVE IT! LOVE IT! DRIVE IT!
Re: Capillary repair
Certainly not a home repair job! The capillary has to be filled with ether - then sealed up. There are specialists who will do it - but I suspect the cost makes it uneconomic.
