Won't start (help)

Post by RobMoore »

Got a few hundred yards down the road and moggy just stopped, nothing at the ignition at all as though battery is just dead.
The starter button under bonnet turns the engine easily and I have 12v on testing the battery.
All fuses are fine.
and I am at a loss
Moggieless :(

Have you checked the battery connections to ensure that they are tight at the terminals and at the earthing point?

Fixed
Loose wire at the regulator.
Now then I hear that with alternator I don't need a regulator so I maybe should think about removing it, but then what do I do with the wires?
