Traveller Door Hinges

Just replaced the old rusty collection of bolts nuts and washer with a new set of hinge pins with brass ball ,bolt, nut, spring and locking washer.
Might seem a stupid question but how tight do you make the nuts.

Just nip them up so they don't rattle. I fitted plastic washers under the balls (can't be seen) - to lift the doors slightly so they aligned better.
