Hi bacon

the car looks good and as Rob says the price don't look too bad either, just give it a good looking over and trial drive. They're great to run as well you know.

its the blue one in the second pic, EFR 481C. i loved that car, but i was only 19 and did not have the know how to look after her, if i remember correctly a younge couple bought her as a donor car in 87, al she needed was a bit of welding under the passenger door. i was young and already had a replacement celica.

Hi Mick as has been said looks a really good car for the money as far as can be seen, it would be worth while asking if you could be there when the MOT is being done to see if they will let you have a proper look at the underside while they have it up in the air as it would be ideal to see if anything is hidden.
Cheers

Being an old cynic I'd say lift the carpets up and have a good poke around.
And a good look underneath.

I see fresh over spray behind the front wheel so it's been recently painted which can hide a multitude of things.

Try and look "through" fresh under seal and see what patches it is covering up.

Looks good, but a fresh coat of paint could just be covering filler - I was fooled this way when I bought my first Minor some years ago. Use a magnet around the rear inner wheel arches and the bottom of the B posts - but *especially* the rear inner wheel arches! Check the front chassis legs and if you see more than a couple of patches then walk away, unless you fancy a bit of welding. Having said all that, I recently bought a Minor for that price which is very solid. :D So it could well be a bargain. Let us know how you get on.

Take a camera with you and if there are any doubts you can pop the pictures on here to get peoples opinion before committing to anything.
