wolseley diff?
is this a wolseley 1500 diff?

Nope. Ford diff. You could make it work by using the centre of the diff, lathing out the diff carrier and then welding the ford shafts into Morris halfshaft ends and electric welding them. This is the Mod Mallock did to get his axles working on his early hillclimbers. I've got an article somewhere for the dimensions for machining the diff carrier. Good for 200bhp, evidently.

Indeed - the fact it says 'English rear Diff' (is there a front one ??) rather gives the game away! It's for the 'English' Ford axle!
