Replacing the boot lid seal (58 tourer)
The existing one is attached to the lid. It is perished but I am told that the seal on this model should be attached to the boot, not the lid.
I've got a new one, it has an angled lip...should this lip point inwards or outwards?
Also, should any sealant be used with it, if so what?
Seems a nice tight fit any way, so maybe not.
Help appreciated!
Chris

Re: Boot lid seal
Hi
It should point inwards. Found out myself through trial and error.
