Morris Minor Convertible for Wedding

Post by a.james.morris »

Hi, i was wondering if there was anyone in the Tyne & Wear area that has a Morris Minor white convertible available for hire.
My daughter is getting married in July next year and we have been searching all over for one. I myself have a split screen 2 door claredon grey, but she really wants a white convertible.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help.
Thanks
Allan

Two suggestions: either contact the North East branch www.northeastmorrisminors.com (Tracey Cramond 01three25 4685zero5) - Darlington, or contact Liz in our MMOC Derby HQ 01332 291675 and ask her if any members in your area do weddings.

Come along to Newby Hall Ripon this Sunday
We have a stand (North East MMOC that is) I'm not sure if there is a white on in the club but you may get lucky and find someone at the show.

If you are stuck for local offers, i may be able to help next July as i can cunningly visit the folks in Scotland and do your wedding on the way up or down and combine buisiness with pleasure! Therefore I will not be charging for the drive from Kent. Just local rates. PM me for more details!

I have a 1968 convertible, fully restored, as well as my Traveller pictured!
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
