Wiper motor

Hi Guys,

My '56 Splitscreen doesn't have a wiper motor at the moment. Can any Minor wiper motor be used or do I have to source one from a splitscreen?

I think they are different look at one of the Morris spare parts company the have two or three types

Different wipe angle for the split screen - although I think the 'gear' can be swapped. But of course - if you don't have an old motor to swap the gear from....... that's a useless bit of information!

when i blew my motor I uprated to a two speed motor as it was cheaper, i used a head light switch to keep the original look on the dash, if you are interested drop me a line and i can let you know the parts you need

The wiper motor for a Series MM/11 is situated behind the inst. panel or glove box on later Series11s on the right side and is aukward to get at. There should be a plate with 3 rubber pads which attach it to the mounting bracket. This usually needs replacing
