cleaning, carpets and cutting out

Post by markthe45king »

i'm typing quick this time, as i just got timed out!

1) anyone in london / surrey people would recommend to fit new carpets and piping?
2) any suggestions for a good way to get dark marks off my nice red leather?
3) cutting out in hot traffic jams every few minutes ~ am i mad or did i read somewhere it's just an unleaded thing?

cheers as ever!

Nothing to do with 'unleaded'. Do you hear the fuel pump running away like a machine gun when this happens ?

Mark, suggest you post in the wanted section for a carpet fitting service. Most Morris suppliers stock the carpets.

As for the piping (wing?) try ESM or Bull Motif - both do good mail order and stock all the colours.

For cleaning the leather seats try http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk they stock all leather renovation products - even leather touch up paint! :D

On the cutting out front, yes she did race a little bit, but she didn't die once running and moving.....and as we got stuck further in the jam, she would take longer to restart.

no issues at all since, so maybe i just need to avoid traffic jams in the heat!
