Minor Matter

Post by faversham999 »

After reading this Months Mag on the survival of the moggie , I started playing with the figures to see how they are doing.

So after working out the average of each years losses (scrap) Cars and Vans.

I came to the rough figure of 19747 lost each year 1949 to 1971 and there are now just 27010

I was told that I have not worked it out right So is there any one out there to correct me

How do you KNOW there are 27010 left ?? It's an impossible calculation!
But - if you are counting them up - I've got ONE. So you just need to find the other 27009 now !

I don't think more than a handful of Minors would have been scrapped through the 50s and 60s, probably more in the 70s, peak in the 80s.
