Such a shame when a car is severed from its original identity for cash. But I'm sure most of the reg selling sites do valuations

They are rarely worth anything anyway unless it is something like "A1"
Remember that "1 AN" plate someone keeps trying to get rid of on ebay

I wouldn't pay any attention to the valuations from registration number dealers. They don't buy it from you; they only advertise it and take a cut if it ever sells. Unless the number is particularly special you could be waiting a very long time for somebody with just the right combination of initials, DOB, and spare cash to come along.

The trouble with 1AN is it's non-transferable.

'Number plates' as such are virtually worthless (unless planning a bank robbery!) - the Registration Number (with or without the actual 'plates') can only be transferred away if the car exists - and has (or recently had) a valid MOT. Is this the case - and - what is the Registration Number ?
