cars which have bumpers without over-riders
my first traveller had a front bumper like this (1971 on a j plate) and i'd like my second one to have the same.
why were/ weren't bumpers fitted with over-riders from the factory? i'm assuming it's a trim option/ model thing, although as far as i was aware there was fairly little in the way of options available on minors.....
TIA

I wish mine wasn't - I think they look much 'cleaner' without! But of course the bumper is marked now - so removal not really practical.

Cockapoo actually. No trouble finding him most of the day, he was underneath cars in the shade, covered in sump oil.
