Strange place to ask a question!
Sadly there was a serious accident on the M6 yesterday involving two motorcycles which closed the motorway. Having been at Trentham Gardens car show all day as a guest of the Potteries Branch I got stuck for three hours.
As happens on these occasions people get out of their cars, I spent the three hours sat in my car in the nearside lane of the M6 answering questions about my Traveller to countless drivers and their passengers. This got me thinking where's the strangest place you have had to answer questions about your car.

Trebah Gardens,Corwall. As we left the Garden to go back to the car park there were 6 people crowded around the car,one even trying to open the bonnet from outside
They were all around the 60 mark so I didn't think it was a gang of car-jackers ! Anyway an hour later we were allowed to leave......

I got accosted inside Sainsburys by a man who'd obviously seen me driving into the carpark and tracked me through the (massive) supermarket.

Another one inside Sainsburys, but I was working there at the time and a bloke asked if I was the man with the black series II minor, we spent far too long talking about cars as he had an A30, luckily it wasn't a busy day !!
He also said he had noticed a minor pickup in the town which I was proud to say was also mine (Smug mode)

Re: Strange place to ask a question!
Whilst I was driving a 7.5 ton lorry through the lanes of Hampshire. Coming the other way was a clarendon grey convertible - the same as my car. Because of the width of the lane we passed at crawling speed giving me ther opportunity to tell the driver of the coincidence. His was a '59 though. One year younger.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

My wedding reception.......we used the Moggy as our wedding car.
Also at work. Clients that couldn't recall my name just asked for the Moggy Minor Man (sadly no superhero powers)
