hi everyone
heres a pic of my engine.
how far off concourse would this be, considering the car lives out side???
and also what coulour would the original ht leads be??
is their anything else to improve on originality??

only things that stick out to me are the halfords battery and the ht leads,they would have had seperate caps.

the rad fan blade hub would have been black

i thought they where either yellow or red. is it the hub or the blade that needs to be black???
so other than the engine steady bar being upside down and the ht leads, is everything as it would have been when it left the factory???

was also a stencelled sign on the radiator cowl
simialr to turn cap slowley to avoid scalding

forgot to add does the dizzy vac pipe go round the front of the engine and a clip on the thermostate housing or round the back as ive got it now and clip on to the manifold??

i have a side entry dizzy cap and leads for sale £6.00
the leads are held in with a screw and the coil leadis a screw fit[frame]

The dynamo AND the starter should be green. And - it's not the right shade of green anyway.............The battery would be rubber topped with individual cell caps (and your terminals are dangerously close to the clamp bar - best turn the battery round!) - and the blue electrical connectors down near the dizzy will never do..........

Front dampers also need a clean up especially the bolt retainers.
