Which Wing mirrors

Post by SvMinor »

I want to get new mirrors for my 2 door, but I want to get the "proper" shape ones.

Should I get these

Mark,
The links to BM items do not work for some reason or other.

There are no proper shaped wing mirrors, they were a dealer fit option and depended on the make. However in my opinion the round mirrors look better on the early cars and the square ones on the later cars. What you should be looking for is convex glass, not flat, and the longest arms you can find

I'll second that and suggest you think about fitting them to the triangular section in front of the quarter light.
The image is pretty small when they are mounted on the wings and even seeing the nearside one can be problematic.
