Hood Cover Convertable

Hi
Can anyone show me how to fit a hood cover/Bag to my convetable Minor. I can not find any instructions, or Photo showing how it is done. Would like to put the hood in cover, when I put the hood down, I think it looks a lot better.

It took a couple years to perfect it but I finally realized what the owner manual shows. Flip the hood sticks so they are straight up into the air and separate the cover. As you collapse the sticks pull the cover material so that it lays on the boot and fold in half. Straighten out the hems, fold the corners in about halfway, then fold the material like a three way letter fold with the last one up and over the folded hood sticks. Now the stack is small enough for the cover to go on. I hope that helps. If you leave the materail inbetween the sticks, the bundle is just too big to cover. For a few years I folded the material many times and it worked but was harder than using just a three fold method as shown in the book.

Hi midnat i posted a reply to you when you first asked about the hoodbag together with another member hence the link sent to you by LouiseM the moderator but if your anything like me on the computer then i assume you didn,t receive it because you didn,t know where to look it,s under the bodywork section on the main menu when you login although the reply you,ve had is informative as it relates directly to the handbook however the handbook does,nt show you how to store the hood in a hoodbag,try and locate my explanation it,s pretty accurate and self explanitory but nothing beats pic,s regards budgie [mike]
