mgb rebuild on Quest

Quest(ch 38) are showing a programme in which a MGB in rebuilt.Its just started and as they are rebuilding and repairing the bodywork first might be good for those contemplating some body work repairs for the first time...You never know you might pick up a few tips.I think the programme will probably be repeated a few times over the week if anyones interested.

Is this the old Evans program - Car is Re-born - something like that ?

Yes i think so, the titles something like 'a mg is born'.They fitted repair panels to the 3 part sill section in about 10 minutes so i don't think its reality based.

The programs are a good age now - he started by rebuilding a Jag E type - which ended up costing an absolute fortune........ As did the MGB. Evans (who is a Vet!) does quite a bit of the work himself - but with help from others of course. And he has superb facilities for the task - and no expense spared!! Worth watching though - but may make you turn green with envy......... Cuts away to Knockhill for laps in various Classics - unfortunately as usual - it's raining at Knockhill.............
