my grandad has just bought some brand new old stock trunnions for £70.00 of my mate with all the fittments and they look like they have come straight of the morris minor factory shelf[frame]Image[/frame]

Looks great! Pack them with grease and store in a plastic bag in case you ever need them. (If you grease your cars existing trunnions regularly (every1-2 thousand miles) you should hopefully not need them).

Very good buy - if he got the pair complete for £70!! Looks like complete with new steering arms too!

Try the trunnions on immeadiately, and check for slop in the thread.

Good point - are you sure they are not 'new' ones - made in China ?? Although - in that case I wouldn't expect them to come with steering arms. I really do think you have a good deal there.

original bmc kingpins never had a colour code on the leg, ie the red dob of paint
bmc ones were stamped l for left and r for right

but still a very good buy
