which exhaust manifold and exhaust

hi all i have fitted a rebuilt 1275 marina engine. at the moment it is running on the original 1098 manifolds and carb. i am looking for advice on which carb and manifolds and exhaust to fit. i have a hif 44 carb and alloy inlet manifold. i also have the one piece marina manifold. but i dont have a larger exhaust system. can somebody advise which combination to use. thanks wole

The alloy inlet and HIF 44 is excellent - use it with the exhaust section of the standard 1098 manifold meantime - just cut it off. However some power will be lost - so when you can afford - get a big bore exhaust system - and then use that with the larger bore exhaust from the 1275 manifold.
