Here are pics of my carb hole and the filter

Can't really see - it just looks like the mounting plate for the filter, may have a smaller inlet hole than the carb inlet. You would need to un-do the two screws and remove it - then measure the hole sizes!

They do appear to the same size but my sight aint what it was.
when fitted I can feel a slight lip though probably about 1 mil

btw, is the filter seated in the correct manner?[frame]Image[/frame]
