new members,post location,pc illiterate

Hi all with regards to letting people now where you are located as i,ve mentioned before not only am i a new member,only joining some six months ago and not very good with pc,s i can,t seem to find where to click onto to show my location call it ignorance on my side but i don,t understand a lot of the computer speak and tried to find the area to click on and couldn,t find anything that relates to location highlighting,sorry to come across as really dull but i,d love to post some pics of my moggy but i,ve only just "mastered"? this site sad isn,t it

Hi Budgie
Click on message board, then you will see inthe line underneath USER CONTROL PANEL,Profile then Edit profile, click on this and type the relevant answers in the boxes.

where it says Location type in where you are, and then the same with occupation and then Interests, if you want to. When you have done this, click on the submit word and this will upload the information into the database and then it will show on your signature, which is the information on the top right hand side when you post on the messageboard.

Hi peter thanks for the advice i,ve only just come home switched on my laptop to see whats new read your reply and gave it a go and hey presto i think i,ve cracked it in so much as i,ve posted my location next step is to try and pop some pics of my tourer,one step at a time i suppose thanks again

as for pics of your tourer, to post more than one at one time, just upload them at http://tinypic.com -> then copy and paste the code it gives you for 'messageboards' - it looks something like this [IMG] JARGON [/ IMG]

Good to see your getting the hang of it. By the way like your signature, there used to be a series called Budgie in the 70s and starred Adam Faith which I thought was great.

Thanks peter i just about can remember the series i was only a young teenager when it was on so that wasn,t my insperation for my name its actually mike but i,d thought i,d be different as there my be a lots of mikes on this forum so to avoid confusion i named myself after one of my interests /hobbies in the past as i used to breed budgies/finches ,canaries sorry i wont go on any more after all this isn,t facebook/msn/etc.

only found out about this and two other events on saturday whilst phoneing about a two door convertible on this forum it was sold and the owner only lived about a mile from me and i didn,t even now he existed any we were chating and he gave me dates,but nothing else,of three events the one you,ve mentioned and two others apparently there,s an event down on the coastal park here in Llanelli on 11-7-10 but i dont have any more details just dates so if you,ve got more info i,d be gratefull. all i,ve got is the above,plus 19-6-10 Swansea to Larn, 20-6-10 Liberty Stadium thats it.
