clutch pedal conversion

Post by marcusthemoose »

does anyone know if it is possible to convert my series 2 from its cotterpinned cluch pedal (inside the master cylinder compartment) to the later type, "respaced" one (outside the chassis rail, in the gearbox tunnel)? i am thinking it may make driving her easier with size 12s. how respaced is the later type anyway?
thanks in advance

That's the problem with having small feet - it's easy to miss the pedals. My size 14s have no problem - especially with heel-and-toe downchanges!

There's information regarding that conversion on page EE.3 of the big manual.
