Don't you mean silver? You can can get the self adhesive tape from ebay usually £2.50 a roll + p&p

right on dennis! go get yourself some one shot and a mack 0 brush josh. regaliaqueen its not as difficult as it looks, honest. try pinstriping uk- kris (the owner) is a real good chap, and will help you make an educated descision pn the stuff to buy.
a painted coachline makes all the difference, even if it is a little scew.

also put some chalk on you fingers that rub along the body so that your fingers dont grip and ruin the line

Just went unto ebay and purchased a roll of white 3mm coachline tape for my Traffy Blue (only £2.00 inc p&p,bargain). Just need to get it resprayed first.

Josh... stick some maskin tape on, two strips approx 3 to 4mm apart and paint it up to the tape. It looks really cool.

For goodness' sake don't use masking tape because it doesn't give a clean edge and you'll be bitterly disappointed. Go to a good motor factor and buy a roll of 3M Fineline tape (ref. no. 6520). It's 3mm wide and you get 55 metres of it. The big advantage of this stuff is that it's low tack and although you won't need to bend it round corners on a Morris Minor, it's capable of doing this. I used to pinstripe my handpainted signboards with this stuff and it's very good. You apply two strips, leaving the required gap in the centre, then simply paint the colour into the gap. You must remove the tapes before the paint tacks up, otherwise as you pull the tape off the paint will be slightly set and can pull up a bit stringy. So you need to do one bit at a time. With 55 m of the stuff you can afford to practise! Hope this helps.

i know all the pros use 3m fineline tape, so its propably worth a pop if you go down this route
