Hi,
Can any one tell me if the inner wing repair panels also include the section where the captive nuts go? That is the ones which hold on the wing. (Hope that made sense)
Thanks,
Philip

Rear inner wing panel question
Philip, Lynda and the cars.

Re: Rear inner wing panel question
No. The inner wing is one repair piece and the flange with captive nuts is a separate piece.

It's the flange repair panel you need Numbers 32 and 33.

It doesn't look like you get the captive nuts though, so I guess it's a case of a short phone call.

I bought mine from Bully and they do come with the captive nuts fitted. Just gotta make sure you line them up accurately

Re: Rear inner wing panel question
Thanks, that's great. Building up a large list of panels for Rosies restoration though, some previous owner decided that fibreglass and mesh was suitable for structural repairs

Is it not OK to use chicken wire and plaster of paris anymore then...... ?pskipper wrote: some previous owner decided that fibreglass and mesh was suitable for structural repairs

I had a Traveller years ago that looked like it had perfect wood - One day, during a storm, the roof on my garage collapsed and fell onto the car. It was only then (when it all fell out) that I found out that the previous owner had used wall plaster to fill the wood !! He must have been very skilled as you couldn't tell at all by just looking at it
